Goldfish was a character in the poem of the same name. Goldfish are sometimes characters in Michael Rosen YTPs, usually being a pet of someone, or a main antagonist.
Role in the original poem[]
Harold Rosen kept pranking Michael Rosen about Goldy (Michael's pet goldfish) dying on both a Monday and a Tuesday. But on Wednesday, Harold did not play a trick on his son and reveals to him that Goldy has passed away. Michael thinks it was one of his tricks, tells him that it is wasn't, Harold guides him to the fishtank and Michael sees that it really has died.

The Rosen Family Chronicles[]
Goldfish are rarely referenced in 256PiAlternate's The Rosen Family Chronicles series. In Michael Rosen Vs. The Lollipop Lady, Round III, Michael is trapped in a dark room inside a temple in the Amazon where he is saying the names of the people he will miss if he dies down there. Michael says, "There are no lights on, no food ready, no-one laughing, no telly, no goldfish." could mean he has a pet fish, and his parents went insane in a fishtank in past episodes. However, this is only the speculation in the series.
